Abel, Reverend Paul K.
MADISON — The Reverend Paul K. Abel, age 57, of 18 Colony Circle, died at St. Mary's Hospital July 24, 1977 after a long illness. He was born June 2, 1920 at Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and was married to the former Mary Quigley on April 28, 1945. He was a WWII veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mary; one son, Karl of 2712 Regent Street, Madison; one daughter, Mrs. David Lennon of Chicago, IL; and one brother, David, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He was a graduate from Seabury Western Seminary in 1948. He was also with the following parishes: Waterford, Pennsylvania; Sycamore, Illinois; Hays, Kansas; Palm Beach, Florida; Ocala, Florida; St. Francis Episcopal Church in Madison; and he assisted at St. Dunstan's Church, 1818 St. Dunstan's Drive. Funeral services will be held on July 27, Wednesday at 11 a.m. at ST DUNSTAN'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH with a requiem mass by Reverend Robert S. Childs of St. Dunstan's. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Friends may call at the church only at the time of services. Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made to St. Dunstan's Church or to a favorite charity. The FITCH LAWRENCE SAN FILLIPPO FUNERAL HOME, 6121 University Ave. is in charge of all arrangements.
